     Guy Edouard Alphonse Paul de Rothschild was born in 1909.1 He is the son of Edouard Alphonse James de Rothschild and Germaine Alice Halphen.2 He married, firstly, Alix Hermine Jeanette Schey von Koromla in 1937.1 He and Alix Hermine Jeanette Schey von Koromla were divorced before 1957.1 He married, secondly, Marie Hélène Naila Stephanie Josina van Zuylen de Nyevelt in 1957.1
     Guy Edouard Alphonse Paul de Rothschild was also known as Baron de Rothschild.1 He was educated at Lycées Condorcet et Louis le Grand, Facultés de Droit et des Lettres, France.1 He was with Associé de MM de Rothschild Frères between 1936 and 1967.1 He fought in the Second World War.3 He was decorated with the award of Croix de Guerre.3 He was decorated with the award of Chevalier du Mérite Agricole


in 1948.3 He was president of the Compagnie du Chemin de Fer du Nord between 1949 and 1968.3 He was decorated with the award of Officer, Legion of Honour in 1959.3 He was president of the Banque Rothschild between 1968 and 1978.3 He was presidet of the Societé Imétal between 1975 and 1979.3 He wrote the book The Whims of Fortune, published 1985.1 He lived in 2003 at 2 rue Saint-Louis-en-l’Isle, Paris, France.1
