     Andrew Patrick Buxton was born on 6 July 1923.1 He was the son of Patrick Alfred Buxton and Muryell Gladys Rice.2 He married Kathleen Audrey Stanfield, daughter of Reverend John Howard Stanfield, on 23 July 1949.1 He died on 7 January 1952 at age 28.1
     Andrew Patrick Buxton was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.3 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He gained the rank of Second World War.3 He was decorated with the award of Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.).1 He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Air Force.1
