     Muryell Gladys Rice was the daughter of Rev. Hon. William Talbot Rice.2 She married Patrick Alfred Buxton, son of Alfred Fowell Buxton and Violet Jex-Blake, on 16 January 1917.1 She died in 1989.1
     From 16 January 1917, her married name became Buxton.

     Martin Patrick Buxton was born on 22 September 1920.1 He was the son of Patrick Alfred Buxton and Muryell Gladys Rice.2 He married Jacqueline Marcelle Stokes, daughter of Percival James Stokes, on 16 May 1949.1 He died on 16 October 1966 at age 46.1
     Martin Patrick Buxton was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England. He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Signals.1 He held the office of First Secretary of the Foreign Service.1
