     Christopher Herzig was the son of Leopold Adolph Herzig.2 He married Rachel Katharine Buxton, daughter of Patrick Alfred Buxton and Muryell Gladys Rice, on 19 July 1952.1 He died in 1993.1
     He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.).1
