     John Giles Selby Coode-Adams was born on 30 August 1938.³ He is the son of Geoffrey Coode-Adams and Cynthia Mildred Selby-Bigge.^2,3 He married Sonia Elisabeth York, daughter of Laurence Frederick York and Enid Laura Buxton, on 30 April 1960.¹
     John Giles Selby Coode-Adams was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.³ He gained the rank of officer in the service of the 16th/5th Lancers.³ He was a stockbroker.³

     Benjamin Richard Coode-Adams was born on 19 August 1965.¹ He is the son of John Giles Selby Coode-Adams and Sonia Elisabeth York.²

     Henrietta Mary Coode-Adams was born on 5 February 1962.¹ She is the daughter of John Giles Selby Coode-Adams and Sonia Elisabeth York.² She married David Christian Guest, son of Patrick Henry Guest, on 26 July 1986.¹
