     Louisa Caroline Hoare was the daughter of John Gurney Hoare.² She married Samuel Gurney Buxton, son of Sir Edward North Buxton, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Gurney, on 3 September 1861.¹ She died on 1 March 1879.¹
