     Colonel Stephenson Robert Clarke was born on 28 June 1862 at Marylebone, London, England.2 He is the son of Stephenson Clarke and Agnes Maria Bridger.2 He married Edith Gertrude Godman in June 1890 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.2 He died on 3 November 1948 at age 86 at Borde Hill House, Cuckfield, Sussex, England.2
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)2 He lived at Borde Hill, Haywards Heath, Sussex, EnglandG.3

     Colonel Sir Ralph Stephenson Clarke was born on 17 August 1892.2 He was the son of Colonel Stephenson Robert Clarke and Edith Gertrude Godman.3,4 He married Rebekah Mary Buxton, daughter of Gerald Buxton and Lucy Ethel Pease, on 15 December 1921.1 He died on 9 May 1970 at age 77.5
     He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)1 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.5 He graduated from King's College School, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1,5 He gained the rank of officer in the Sussex Yeomanry.5 He fought in the First World War, in Gallipoli, Palestine and Egypt.5 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for East Grinstead between 1936 and 1955.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of East Sussex in 1937.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.5 He fought in the Second World War, in Iraq, Iran and Sicily, and was mentioned in despatches.5

     Robert Nunn Stephenson Clarke was born on 17 April 1925.1 He was the son of Colonel Sir Ralph Stephenson Clarke and Rebekah Mary Buxton.2 He married Juana Nidia Gereth Bickersteth-Wheeler, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Bickersteth-Wheeler, on 23 April 1940.1 He and Juana Nidia Gereth Bickersteth-Wheeler were divorced in 1967.1 He died on 17 November 1987 at age 62 at Brighton, Sussex, England.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War, in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.1
