     Patience Cahn was born on 10 February 1922.1 She was the daughter of Sir Julien Cahn, 1st Bt. and Phyllis Muriel Wolfe.2 She married, firstly, F/Lt. Jules V. Silverston, son of Bertram Silverston, on 24 July 1945.1 She and F/Lt. Jules V. Silverston were divorced in 1957.1 She married, secondly, Edward Wynne-Jones in 1957.1 She married, thirdly, Pratt Garnet-Smith in August 1960.1
     From 24 July 1945, her married name became Silverston. From 1957, her married name became Wynne-Jones. From August 1960, her married name became Garnet-Smith.1 Her marriage to Pratt Garnet-Smith was annulled in 1963.
