     Sir Julien Cahn, 1st Bt. was born on 21 October 1882.1 He was the son of Albert Cahn and Matilda Lewes.2 He married Phyllis Muriel Wolfe, daughter of A. Wolfe, on 11 July 1916.1 He died on 26 September 1944 at age 61.1
     Sir Julien Cahn, 1st Bt. was Master of Foxhounds of Burton between 1926 and 1935.1 He captained cricket teams to Jamaica 1929, Argentine 1930, Denmark and Jutland 1932, Canada, USA and Bermuda 1933 and Ceylon and Singapore 1937.1 He was invested as a Knight in 1929.3 He was decorated with the Knight Commander, Order of George I of Greece.3 He was decorated with the Chevalier, Legion of Honour.3 He was Lord of the Manor of Stanford-on-Soar.1 He was created 1st Baronet Cahn, of Stanford-upon-Soar, co. Nottingham [U.K.] on 27 June 1934.1 He was Master of Foxhounds of Woodand Pytchley between 1935 and 1937.3 He was Master of Foxhounds of the Fernie between 1937 and 1939.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1
