Sir Henry Caldwell, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir James Caldwell, 1st Bt. and Catherine Campbell.1 He married, firstly, Catharine Hume, daughter of Sir John Hume, 2nd Bt. and Sidney Hamilton.1 He married, secondly, unknown wife (?) circa 14 July 1722.1 He died circa 5 November 1726.1 His will (dated 21 June 1721) was probated on 19 January 1726/27.1
Sir Henry Caldwell, 2nd Bt. held the office of Sheriff of County Fermanagh in 1693.1 He was a merchant in 1714 at Ballyshannon, County Donegal, Ireland.1 He was a merchant before 1717 at Killiberge, County Donegal, Ireland.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Caldwell, of Wellsburrow, co. Fermanagh [I., 1683] in February 1716/17.1
