     He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)1 He was awarded the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Officers' Decoration (V.D.)1 He was in the Indian Civil Service.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Indian Empire (K.C.I.E.)1

     Frances Irene Young was the daughter of Reverend Henry Savill Young and Rebecca Isabella Brewis.2 She married Sir Archibald Young Gipps Campbell, son of Archibald Samuels Campbell of Auchenbreck and Mary Alice Gipps, on 15 December 1910.1 She died on 30 December 1967.1
     From 15 December 1910, her married name became Campbell.1
