     Mary Ward was born on 28 May 1811 at Leeds, Yorkshire, West Riding, EnglandG.1,2 She was the daughter of John Ward and Margaret (?).3 She married William Middleton, son of John Middleton and Ann Beckett, on 7 February 1838 at Church of St. Peter, Leeds, Yorkshire, West Riding, EnglandG.2 She died on 15 June 1859 at age 48 at Gledhow Grange, Chapel Allerton, Yorkshire, England.2
     From 7 February 1838, her married name became Middleton.1
