     Seumas Donnchadh Macfarlane was born on 8 April 1922.1 He was the son of Reverend James Humphrey Copner Macfarlane-Barrow and Alice Maie Campbell-Orde.2 He married Beatrice Harriet Shields, daughter of Captain Christopher St. Barbe Shields, on 17 November 1956.1 He died in 1981.1
     Seumas Donnchadh Macfarlane was baptised with the name of Seumas Donnchadh Macfarlane-Barrow.1 In 1968 deed poll.1 On 1968 his name was legally changed to Seumas Donnchadh Macfarlane by Deed Poll.1

     From 17 November 1956, her married name became Macfarlane-Barrow. From 1968, her married name became Macfarlane. She lived in 2003 at 99 Gregory Street, Geraldton, Western Australia, Australia.1
