     George Evans was born on 27 July 1831.1 He was the son of Eyre Dixon Evans and Jessie Robertson.2 He married Harriet Mary Coote, daughter of Colonel Chidley Coote and Jane Deborah Close, on 28 August 1855.1 He died on 26 May 1873 at age 41, without issue.1
     George Evans lived at Portrane, County Dublin, Ireland.1

     Colonel Chidley Coote was born on 10 January 1798.3 He was the son of Chidley Coote and Elizabeth Anne Carr.2 He married, firstly, Jane Deborah Close, daughter of Reverend Samuel Close, on 8 May 1827.3 He married, secondly, Catherine Maria Brabazon, daughter of William Philip Brabazon, on 3 May 1859.4 He died on 21 July 1876 at age 78.3
     Colonel Chidley Coote gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Scots Guards.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).3 He lived at Huntington, County Laois, Ireland.1
