     Henry Frederick Evans was born on 12 April 1821.1 He was the son of Eyre Evans and Anna Maunsell.2 He married Sarah Anne Moncrieffe, daughter of Reverend David Stewart Moncrieffe, on 25 May 1851.1 He died in 1904.1
     Henry Frederick Evans gained the rank of Major in the service of the Cork Militia.1
