     Alexander Brodie was the son of David Brodie and Margaret Brodie.1 He died in 1806, unmarried.1
     Alexander Brodie was a physician at Elgin, Morayshire, Scotland.1

     Margaret Brodie was the daughter of Francis Brodie of Mlton and Inverlochtie and Margaret Hay.1 She married Alexander Gordon of Dykeside in 1706.1 She died in 1734.1
     From 1706, her married name became Gordon.1

     Joseph Brodie of Mlton and Inverlochtie is the son of Francis Brodie of Mlton and Inverlochtie and Barbara Johnstone.1 He married Elizabeth Dunbar, daughter of Thomas Dunbar of Grange and Katherine Gordon, in 1693.1
     In 1730 He sold his estates to Lord Braco.1
