     Elizabeth Palk was the daughter of Walter Palk.2 She married Sir Henry Carew, 7th Bt., son of Sir Thomas Carew, 6th Bt. and Jane Smallwood, on 3 October 1806.1 She died on 7 March 1862.1
     From 3 October 1806, her married name became Carew.

     Sir Walter Palk Carew, 8th Bt. was born on 9 July 1807 at Rattery, Devon, England.3 He was the son of Sir Henry Carew, 7th Bt. and Elizabeth Palk.2 He married Anne Frances Taylor, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Thomas William Taylor and Anne Harvey Petrie, on 25 January 1837 at Richmond, Surrey, England.4 He died on 27 January 1874 at age 66 at Marley, Devon, England, without surviving male issue.4
     Sir Walter Palk Carew, 8th Bt. matriculated at Christ Church College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, on 14 December 1825.3 He succeeded to the title of 8th Baronet Carew, of Haccombe, co. Devon [E., 1661] on 31 October 1830.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Devon in 1846.3

     Walter Palk Carew was born on 13 April 1838.1 He was the son of Sir Walter Palk Carew, 8th Bt. and Anne Frances Taylor.2 He married Ellen Augusta Daniel, daughter of T. D. Daniel, on 4 April 1872.1 He died on 14 June 1873 at age 35, without issue.1
     Walter Palk Carew gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Horse Guards.1
