Sir Nicholas Carew, 1st Bt. was born on 6 February 1686/87.1 He was the son of Sir Francis Carew and Anne Boteler.1 He married Anne Hacket, daughter of Nicholas Hacket, before 1712.1 He died on 18 March 1726/27 at age 40 at Beddington, Surrey, England.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 7 April 1727.1
Sir Nicholas Carew, 1st Bt. held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Haslemere between 1708 and 1710.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Haslemere between 1714 and 1722.1 He was created 1st Baronet Carew, of Beddington, co. Surrey [Great Britain] on 11 January 1714/15.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Surrey between 1722 and 1727.1
