     Sir Thomas Palk Carew, 10th Bt. was born on 1 March 1890.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Palk Carew, 9th Bt. and Frances Gertrude Lock-Roe.2 He married, firstly, Ivy Madeline Laura Breakey, daughter of Colonel Arthur John Breakey and Laura Susan Augusta Carew, on 10 November 1913.1 He and Ivy Madeline Laura Breakey were divorced in 1921.1 He married, secondly, Phyllis Evelyn Mayman, daughter of Neville Mayman, on 20 August 1927.1 He died in April 1976 at age 86.1
     Sir Thomas Palk Carew, 10th Bt. was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Pembroke College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Indian Army.1 He succeeded to the title of 10th Baronet Carew, of Haccombe, co. Devon [E., 1661] on 21 October 1934.1
