     John Nicolson of Lasswade was the son of James Nicolson and Janet Swinton.2 He married Elizabeth Henderson, daughter of Edward Henderson.1 He died in 1605.1
     John Nicolson of Lasswade was a practising advocate at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1 In 1590 he bought the estate of Lasswade, Midlothian.1
