     Josias Stewart, 4th Baron Castle Stuart was born circa 1637.2 He was the son of Andrew Stewart, 2nd Baron Castle Stuart and Lady Anne Stewart.3,1 He married Anne Madden, daughter of John Madden and Elizabeth Waterhouse, circa 2 April 1662.1 He died on 2 December 1662, without issue.1 He was buried on 4 December 1662 at St. Bride's Church, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.2
     He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Stewart [N.S., 1628] on 10 August 1650.1 He succeeded to the title of 4th Baron Castle Stuart, of co. Tyrone [I., 1619] on 10 August 1650.1
