John Ochiltree Stuart was born on 21 September 1902.1 He was the son of Godfrey Richard Conyngham Stuart and Alice Mabel Smyth.2 He married Helen Winifred Lynden-Bell, daughter of Colonel Charles Perceval Lynden-Bell, on 18 November 1937.1 He died on 20 November 1968 at age 66, without issue.3
     Lt.-Col. John Ochiltree Stuart gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the King's Regiment.1
