     Sir William Craven was born in 1610.1 He was the son of Robert Craven and Mary Shearwood.1 He married Elizabeth Fairfax, daughter of Ferdinando Fairfax, 2nd Baron Fairfax of Cameron and Lady Mary Sheffield, on 30 March 1646. He died on 12 October 1655.2
