     Geoffrey de Vere was born circa 1523 at Crepping Hall, Wakes Colne, Essex, England.2 He was the son of John de Vere, 15th Earl of Oxford and Elizabeth Trussel. He married Elizabeth Hardkyn, daughter of Sir John Hardkyn, circa 1547 at Tilbury, Essex, England.2

     Horatio de Vere, 1st and last Baron Vere of Tilbury was born in 1565 at Crepping Hall, Wakes Colne, Essex, England.2 He was the son of Geoffrey de Vere and Elizabeth Hardkyn. He married Mary Tracy, daughter of Sir John Tracy and Anne Throckmorton, in November 1607 at Hailey Abbey, Toddington, Gloucestershire, England.2 He died on 2 May 1635 at Whitehall, Westminster, London, England.2
     Horatio de Vere, 1st and last Baron Vere of Tilbury was created 1st Baron Vere of Tilbury.

     Mary Tracy was born on 18 May 1581 at Toddington, Gloucestershire, England.1 She was the daughter of Sir John Tracy and Anne Throckmorton.1 She married Horatio de Vere, 1st and last Baron Vere of Tilbury, son of Geoffrey de Vere and Elizabeth Hardkyn, in November 1607 at Hailey Abbey, Toddington, Gloucestershire, England.1 She died on 25 December 1671 at age 90 at Kirby Hall, Little Ouseburn, Yorkshire, England.1
     From November 1607, her married name became de Vere.

She died on 16 October 1665 at Appleton Nun, Bolton Percy, Yorkshire, England.2
     Her married name became Fairfax.

     Thomas Fairfax, 3rd Baron Fairfax of Cameron was born on 17 January 1611/12. He was the son of Ferdinando Fairfax, 2nd Baron Fairfax of Cameron and Lady Mary Sheffield. He married Hon. Anne de Vere, daughter of Horatio de Vere, 1st and last Baron Vere of Tilbury and Mary Tracy, on 20 June 1637. He died on 12 November 1671 at age 59.
     Thomas Fairfax, 3rd Baron Fairfax of Cameron gained the title of 3rd Baron Fairfax of Cameron.
