     Catherine Glynne was born on 6 January 1812 at Hawarden Castle, Flintshire, Wales.3 She was the daughter of Sir Stephen Richard Glynne, 8th Bt. and Mary Griffin.1,2 She married Rt. Hon. William Ewart Gladstone, son of Sir John Gladstone, 1st Bt. and Anne MacKenzie Robertson, on 25 July 1839 at Liverpool, Lancashire, England.1 She died on 14 June 1900 at age 88 at Hawarden Castle, Flintshire, Wales.1
     From 25 July 1839, her married name became Gladstone.1

     Sir Amyas Paulet held the office of Sheriff of Dorset in 1485.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Somerset in 1485.1
