Reverend Stephen Edward Gladstone was born on 4 April 1844.1 He was the son of Rt. Hon. William Ewart Gladstone and Catherine Glynne.2,3 He married Annie Crosthwaite Wilson, daughter of Charles Bowman Wilson and Sarah Ann Lewis, on 29 January 1885.1 He died on 23 April 1920 at age 76.1
