     Elizabeth Montagu was the daughter of Hon. George Montagu and Elizabeth Irby.2 She married Sir Christopher Wandesford, 1st Viscount Castlecomer, son of Sir Christopher Wandesford, 1st Bt. and Eleanor Lowther, circa 20 April 1683.1 She died on 13 November 1731.2 Her will (dated 26 April 1729) was probated on 6 December 1731.2
     From circa 20 April 1683, her married name became Wandesford.1 As a result of her marriage, Elizabeth Montagu was styled as Viscountess Castlecomer on 15 March 1706/7.
