Sir Christopher Wandesford, 2nd Viscount Castlecomer was born on 2 March 1683/84 at St. Margaret's Church, Westminster, London, England.1 He was the son of Sir Christopher Wandesford, 1st Viscount Castlecomer and Elizabeth Montagu.1 He married Hon. Frances Pelham, daughter of Sir Thomas Pelham, 1st Baron Pelham of Laughton and Lady Grace Holles, on 31 May 1715.2,3 He died on 23 June 1719 at age 35 at Newport Street, London, England.1 He was buried at Charlton, Kent, England.1 His will was probated in October 1719.1

Kilkenny [I., 1707] on 15 September 1707.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Wandesford, of Kirklington, co. York [E., 1662] on 15 September 1707.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baron Wandesford [I., 1707] on 15 September 1707.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Morpeth between 1710 and 1713.1 He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] on 25 April 1710.1 He held the office of Governor of Kilkenny in 1715.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Ripon between 1715 and 1719.1
