Sir Robert Carr, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Edward Carr, 1st Bt. and Anne Dyer.1 He married Mary Gargrave, daughter of Sir Richard Gargrave and Catharine Danvers, on 30 April 1629 at St. James' Church, Clerkenwell, London, England.1 He died on 14 August 1667.1 He was buried on 29 August 1667 at New Sleaford, Lincolnshire, England.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 6 November 1667.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 15 November 1675.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 18 July 1685.1

Sir Edward Carr, 1st Bt. was the son of Robert Carre and Elizabeth Cawdron.1 He married, firstly, Katharine Bolle, daughter of Charles Bolle and Bridget Fane.1 He married, secondly, Anne Dyer, daughter of Sir Richard Dyer and Mary Fitzwilliam, before 1613.1 He died on 1 October 1618.1 He was buried at Sleaford, Lincolnshire, England.1
