     Sir William Handcock was born on 10 September 1655.1 He was the son of William Handcock and Abigail Stanley.2 He married Elizabeth Coddington, daughter of Nicholas Coddington and Elizabeth Aston, on 31 May 1685.1 He died in September 1701.1
     Sir William Handcock held the office of Recorder of Dublin.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Athlone in 1692.1

     Elizabeth Coddington was the daughter of Nicholas Coddington and Elizabeth Aston.2,3 She married Sir William Handcock, son of William Handcock and Abigail Stanley, on 31 May 1685.1 She died in September 1701.4
     Her married name became Handcock.
