     Reverend Richard George Handcock was the son of Lt.-Col. Richard Handcock and Jane Fraser.2 He married Mary Swinhoe Swinhoe, daughter of General Samuel Swinhoe, in 1855.1 He died in 1913.1
     
     He had five sons and three daughters.1

     Very Rev. Stephen Handcock was born on 3 September 1657.1 He was the son of William Handcock and Abigail Stanley.2
     He was an ancestor of the Handcocks, later Temples, of Waterstown, County Westmeath.1 He held the office of Dean of Kilmacduogh.1
