     Rev. Sir Charles Cave, 8th Bt. was born in 1747.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Cave, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Davies.2 He died on 21 March 1810, unmarried.1 He was buried at Stanford, Northamptonshire, England.3 His will was probated in May 1810.3
     Rev. Sir Charles Cave, 8th Bt. matriculated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, on 7 March 1766.3 He graduated from St. Mary Hall, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1769 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).3 He graduated from St. Mary Hall, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1772 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).3 He was invested as a Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.) in 1781.1,3 He succeeded to the title of 8th Baronet Cave, of Stanford, co. Northampton [E., 1641] on 15 January 1792.1 He was the Vicar at Theddingworth, Leicestershire, England.3 He was the Rector at Finedon, Northamptonshire, England.1
