John Cave-Browne was the son of Roger Cave and Catherine Browne.2 He married, firstly, Frances Inge, daughter of Theodore William Inge, on 6 December 1757.1 He married, secondly, Catherine Asteley, daughter of Thomas Asteley, on 3 January 1764.1 He died on 2 October 1798.1
