     Sir Charles Edward Heley Chadwyck-Healey, 1st Bt. was born on 26 August 1845.1 He was the son of Edward Charles Healey.2 He married, firstly, Rosa Close, daughter of John Close, on 6 February 1872.1 He married, secondly, Frances Katharine Wait, daughter of William Killigrew Wait, on 17 May 1884.1 He died on 5 October 1919 at age 74.1
     Sir Charles Edward Heley Chadwyck-Healey, 1st Bt. was baptised with the name of Charles Edward Heley Chadwyck Healey.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).1 He was invested as a Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.).1 He held the office of Bencher of Lincoln's Inn.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Surrey.1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.).1 He was invested as a King's Counsel (K.C.).1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Somerset in 1911.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Captain in the service of the Royal Naval Reserves.1 He was created 1st Baronet Chadwyck-Healey, of Wyphurst, Cranleigh, Surrey [U.K.] on 6 May 1919.1
