     Oliver Nowell Chadwyck-Healey was born on 19 December 1886.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Edward Heley Chadwyck-Healey, 1st Bt. and Frances Katharine Wait.2 He married Gwendoline Mary Charrington, daughter of Major Hugh Charrington, on 2 September 1916.1 He died on 4 February 1960 at age 73.1
     Oliver Nowell Chadwyck-Healey was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1908 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1911 entitled to practice as a barrister.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Major in the service of the Royal Berkshire Regiment.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1917 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was a director of Morgan Brothers (Publishers) Ltd.1
