Colonel William Massy Baker is the son of Godfrey Baker and Elizabeth Cossart.3,4 He married Mary Towgood Davies, daughter of Reverend Richard Davies, on 19 February 1807.4 He died on 12 November 1829.4

General Eyre Massey, 1st Baron Clarina of Elm Park was born on 24 May 1719.1 He was the son of Colonel Hugh Massy and Elizabeth Evans.1 He married Catherine Clements, daughter of Rt. Hon. Nathaniel Clements and Hannah Gore, on 27 December 1767.1 He died on 17 May 1804 at age 84 at Bath, Somerset, England.1 He was buried on 24 May 1804 at Bath Abbey, Bath, Somerset, England.1 His will was probated in June 1804.1
General Eyre Massey, 1st Baron Clarina of Elm Park fought in the Battle of Culloden in 1746, where he was wounded.1 He fought in the Capture of Havannah, at the head of the Grenadiers, and was wounded.1 He fought in the Capture of Martinique.1 He was Colonel of the 27th Foot (Enniskillen Regiment) between 1773 and 1804.1 He fought in the Battle of Niagara.1 He gained the rank of Major-General in 1777.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in 1782.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Swords between 1790 and 1797.1 He gained the rank of General in 1796.1 He held the office of Governor of Limerick between 1797 and 1804.1 He was created 1st Baron Clarina of Elm Park, co.
