     Colonel William Baker was the son of Colonel William Massy Baker and Mary Towgood Davies.1 He married Frances Roupell Simpson, daughter of James Simpson.1 He died in 1877.1
     Colonel William Baker gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Honourable East India Company Service (H.E.I.C.S.).1
