     Rachel Dunsby was the daughter of Richard Dunsby.1 She married William Raffles, son of Thomas Raffles and Jane Gibson, on 20 May 1778 at St. Leonards, Shoreditch, Middlesex, England.1 She died on 15 July 1832.1
     From 20 May 1778, her married name became Raffles.1

     Thomas Raffles was born on 17 May 1788.1 He was the son of William Raffles and Rachel Dunsby.1 He was baptised on 13 June 1788.1 He married Mary Catherine Hargreaves, daughter of James Hargreaves, on 18 April 1815.1 He died on 18 August 1863 at age 75.1
     Thomas Raffles was invested as a Fellow, Zoological Society (F.Z.S.).1 He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.).1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.).1

     Mary Catherine Hargreaves was the daughter of James Hargreaves.1 She married Thomas Raffles, son of William Raffles and Rachel Dunsby, on 18 April 1815.1 She died on 17 May 1843.1
     From 18 April 1815, her married name became Raffles.1

     Thomas Stamford Raffles was born on 18 September 1818.1 He was the son of Thomas Raffles and Mary Catherine Hargreaves.1 He married Maria Cearns, daughter of Edward Cearns, on 20 September 1849.1 He died on 23 January 1891 at age 72.1
     Thomas Stamford Raffles was a practising Barrister-at-Law at Liverpool, Lancashire, England.1
