     John Chance was born on 6 October 1711.1 He was the son of John Chance and Sarah (?).2 He married, firstly, Hannah Hunt, daughter of Thomas Hunt, on 24 October 1743.1 He married, secondly, Mary Tilt, daughter of Joshua Tilt, on 15 October 1746.1 He died on 13 February 1749/50 at age 38.1
