     General Sir Reginald Seaburne May was born in 1879.2 He married, firstly, Marguerite Geraldine Ramsey Drake, daughter of John Ramsay Drake and Evangeline Lockhart Hughes, on 20 December 1906.2 He married, secondly, Jane Robertson Wilson, daughter of Sir John Wilson of Airdrie, 1st Bt. and Emma Alexandrina Binnie, on 9 July 1932.1 He died in 1958.2
     He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1
     He had three sons.3
