     General Sir Reginald Seaburne May was born in 1879.2 He married, firstly, Marguerite Geraldine Ramsey Drake, daughter of John Ramsay Drake and Evangeline Lockhart Hughes, on 20 December 1906.2 He married, secondly, Jane Robertson Wilson, daughter of Sir John Wilson of Airdrie, 1st Bt. and Emma Alexandrina Binnie, on 9 July 1932.1 He died in 1958.2
     General Sir Reginald Seaburne May was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.).1 He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.).1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.).1
     He had three sons.3
