James Alfred Caulfeild, 7th Viscount Charlemont was born on 20 March 1830 at Loy House, Cookstown, County Tyrone, Ireland.3 He was the son of Edward Houston Caulfeild and Charlotte Geale.2 He married Hon. Annetta Handcock, daughter of Richard Handcock, 3rd Baron Castlemaine of Moydrum and Margaret Harris, on 2 February 1858 at Athlone Church, Athlone, Ireland.4 He died on 4 July 1913 at age 83 at Drumcairne, County Tyrone, Ireland.3
