     John Monck is the son of Major Charles Sydney Goldman.2 He married Hon. Margaret St. Clair Sidney Thesiger, daughter of Frederick John Napier Thesiger, 1st Viscount Chelmsford and Hon. Frances Charlotte Guest, on 10 July 1934.1
     His name was legally changed to John Monck.1 He was baptised with the name of John Monk Goldman.

     Robert Frederic Monk was born on 1 November 1938.1 He is the son of John Monck and Hon. Margaret St. Clair Sidney Thesiger.2 He married Barbara Lloyd, daughter of A. Lloyd, in 1962.1
     Robert Frederic Monk was educated at Millfield School, Street, Somerset, England.1 He adopted James Monk on 11 March 1965.1
