Frederick Cavendish was born in 1777.2 He was the son of Sir Henry Cavendish, 2nd Bt. and Sarah Bradshaw, 1st Baroness Waterpark.2 He married, firstly, Lady Eleanor Gore, daughter of Sir Arthur Saunders Gore, 2nd Earl of Arran of the Arran Islands and Anne Knight, on 25 May 1801.1 He married, secondly, Agnes Catherine Macdonnell, daughter of Alexander Macdonnell, on 5 October 1817.2 He died on 10 March 1856.2
     He had three sons by his second wife.2
