     John Joseph Peter Cheyne was born on 17 March 1956.1 He is the son of Major Sir Joseph Lister Watson Cheyne of Leagarth, 3rd Bt. and Cicely Metcalfe.2 He married Emma Sestini, daughter of Luciano Sestini, in 1980.1
     His marriage to Emma Sestini was annulled in 1994.1 He lived in 2003 at La Vignaccia, Via Del Bandino 6, Pergine Val D'Arno, Arizzo, Italy.1
