François de Vendôme, Duc de Beaufort was born on 5 January 1616 at Paris, France.1 He was the son of César de Bourbon, Duc de Vendôme and Françoise de Lorraine-Mercouer.1 He died on 25 June 1669 at age 53 at Candia, Italy, unmarried.1
