     Reverend Arthur Venables Calveley Hordern was born on 12 April 1866.1 He was the son of Reverend Joseph Calveley Hordern and Charlotte Anne Partridge.1 He married Hilda Leigh Slater in 1898.1 He died on 30 October 1946 at age 80.1
     Reverend Arthur Venables Calveley Hordern fought in the Boer War.1 He was Chaplain to Forces in 1910.1 He fought in the First World War between 1915 and 1918, with the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force, where he was mentioned in despatches six times.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1916.1 He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.1 He held the office of Rural Dean of Hodnet between 1920 and 1930.1 He was the Vicar between 1930 and 1939 at Stansted, Essex, England.1
     He had five sons (one killed in action 1942) and two daughters.1

     Robert Bernard Sparrow was born on 15 February 1773 at Mary-le-Bone, London, England.1 He was the son of Robert Sparrow and Mary Bernard.1 He married Lady Olivia French Acheson, daughter of Sir Arthur Acheson, 1st Earl of Gosford and Millicent Pole, on 14 March 1797 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He died in 1805.2
     Robert Bernard Sparrow lived at Tanderagee Castle, County Antrim, Ireland.2 He lived at Brampton Park, Huntingdonshire, England.2
