     Hubert Gordon Compton Cavendish was born on 26 February 1913.1 He was the son of Captain Godfrey Lionel John Cavendish and Cora Grace Graham Horsford.1 He married Beaujolois Inez Wodehouse, daughter of Captain Philip George Wodehouse and Beaujolois Theresa Constance Ridout, on 17 April 1942.1 He died in 1993.1
     He fought in the Second World War, in East Africa.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Army Service Corps.1

     Captain Godfrey Lionel John Cavendish was born on 30 March 1884.1 He was the son of Reginald Richard Frederick Cavendish and Mary Constance Dupuis.1 He married Cora Grace Graham Horsford, daughter of Joseph Alphonsus Horsford, on 22 March 1911.1 He died on 22 December 1914 at age 30, from wounds received in action.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Indian Army.1 He fought in the First World War.1

      From 22 March 1911, her married name became Cavendish. From 24 September 1919, her married name became Horsford.
