     Henry Alexander Starkie Bence was born on 15 May 1816 at Thorington, Suffolk, England.1 He was the son of Henry Bence Sparrow Bence and Elizabeth Susanna Starkie.1 He married Agnes Barclay, daughter of John Barclay, on 22 August 1850 at St. George Hanover Square, Westminster, London, England.1 He died on 30 May 1881 at age 65 at Thorington, Suffolk, England.1

     Edward Robert Starkie Bence was the son of Henry Bence Sparrow Bence and Elizabeth Susanna Starkie.1 He married Eliza Charlotte Albinia Sulivan, daughter of George James Sulivan and Mary Plomley Jenkins, on 30 July 1850 at St. George Hanover Square, Westminster, London, England.1 He died on 24 February 1886 at Kentwell Hall, Long Melford, Suffolk, England.1

     Thomas Starkie Bence was the son of Henry Bence Sparrow Bence and Elizabeth Susanna Starkie.1 He married Elizabeth Frances Taylor, daughter of Robert Cuninghame Taylor, on 16 April 1857.1 He died on 14 July 1858 at Oxford Terrace, Paddington, London, England.1
