     Leonard George Dobbs was born on 8 June 1901 at 13 Cheyne Gardens, Chelsea, London, England.1 He was the son of George Cumberland Dobbs and Rosalind Heyworth Potter.1 He was baptised on 3 July 1901 at St. Luke's, Chelsea, London, England.1 He married Elaine Cantaloupe in 1932 at Paddington, London, England.1 He and Elaine Cantaloupe were divorced in 1935.1 He died on 2 March 1945 at age 43 at Municpal Hospital, Hastings, Sussex, England, from Bright's disease.1
     He was educated between 1915 and 1920 at Bedales School, Petersfield, Hampshire, England.1 He was educated at St. John's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He wrote the book Shakespeare Revealed.1
