     Lt.-Col. Walter Murray was born on 13 August 1882.1 He was the son of Reverend Douglas Stuart Murray and Harriet Georgina Isabel Bridgeman.1 He married Evelyn Adie, daughter of William Edward Adie, on 15 August 1911.1 He died on 8 November 1945 at age 63.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Royal Engineers.1 He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1916.1 He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1918.1

     Major George Murray was born on 20 November 1884.1 He was the son of Reverend Douglas Stuart Murray and Harriet Georgina Isabel Bridgeman.1 He married Joan Eastwood, daughter of William Edward Eastwood, on 17 January 1928.1 He died on 21 June 1940 at age 55 at South Africa, while on active service.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Field Artillery.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He fought in the Second World War.1
